Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Heiss & Linnavuori 2002 under the combination Plagiognathus (Zophocnemis) bicolor ; Linnavuori 2007 under the same combination), Golestan (Heiss & Linnavuori 2002 ), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013).
General distribution. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan (Asian part), South Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
