Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007; Hosseini 2013a), Mazandaran (Heiss & Linnavuori 2002 ), Tehran ( Linnavuori 2007), West Azarbaijan ( Gharaat et al. 2006, 2009), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013). General distribution and hosts. West Palaearctic species; living on deciduous trees such Acer sp. , Alnus sp. , Fraxinus sp. , Prunus sp. and Quercus sp. ( Gharaat et al. 2006; Linnavuori 2007).
