Distribution in Iran. Bushehr (Linnavuori 2010), Fars ( Wagner 1961 under the combination Atomoscelis signaticornis ; Linnavuori 2010), Golestan (Ghahari 2013), Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007), Hormozgan ( Linnavuori 2004b), Ilam (Linnavuori 2010), Kerman ( Wagner 1958), Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2010), Kordestan (Linnavuori 2010), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Wagner 1957 under the combination Atomoscelis signaticornis ), West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2010), Zanjan ( Linnavuori 2007), Iran (no locality cited) ( Kerzhner & Josifov 1999). General distribution and hosts. Eremian species, extending from North Africa to Iran; also widely distributed in the Ethiopian and Oriental regions; living on Aerva sp. , Arnebia sp. and Heliotropium sp. ( Linnavuori 2004b, 2007, 2010).
