Distribution in Iran. Fars (Linnavuori 2010: A. m.erato), Khorasan ( Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999: A. m. maculosa ), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Linnavuori 1971b: A. m. erato; Konstantinov 2000), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013). The subspecies A. m. erato was described by Linnavuori (1971b) from Sistan & Baluchestan, synonymized with the nominotypical subspecies by Konstantinov (2000) and reinstaured by Linnavuori (2010).
General distribution and hosts. Middle Asia and Iran; collected on Calligonum sp. ( Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999).
