Hypsitylus prasinus Fieber, 1861
Listed from Khorasan by Reuter (1904). The presence in Iran is doubtful. The collections of ZMAS preserve a large part of the material collected by Zarudny including a single female sampled by him from Hauz-Musafyr and labeled “ Hypsitylus prasinus Fieb ”. According to F. Konstantinov (in litt.) “the specimen is clearly not Hypsitylus and might represent some Melanotrichus spp. ”
General distribution. Algeria, France, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and Tunisia.
