Stenotus (Charitocoris) pallidus Reuter, 1904 View in CoL
Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan ( Wagner 1968a), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Reuter 1904; Kerzhner & Josifov 1999). General distribution. Endemic to Iran.
Comments. The status of Charitocoris remains unclear. The name was considered as junior synonym of Stenotus by Carvalho (1959). However, Charitocoris was regarded as a subgenus of Stenotus by Linnavuori (1975) and as a separate genus by Wagner (1974). We adopt here Linnavuori’s taxonomy, even if the Stenotus -like mirine should be carefully reviewed on a World-scale to address this problem ( Chérot 2013).
