Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 4 – 13 ) wingspan 27.0–29.0 mm. This species is characterized by the forewing with a rounded white patch at middle of the termen. It is similar to T. margarita in the forewing pattern by having a white median area. Termioptycha albifurcalis can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the gnathos without setae, and the valva with a triangular process at basal 1/3 below costa ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 14 – 19 ); and in the female genitalia by the long uniformly narrow antrum ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ). In T. margarita , the gnathos bears dense setae on lateral arms, and the valva has no triangular process at basal 1/3 below costa ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 20 – 23 ); and the antrum is broad U-shaped in posterior half and inverted triangular in anterior half ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ).

Distribution. China (Hainan, Taiwan, Yunnan); India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia.
