Notes: Hyde et al. (2018) introduced Pleurotheciella krabiensis from decaying wood submerged in a freshwater stream near Morakot Lake, Krabi Province, Thailand. It was described in having synnematous conidiophores, but it is more like caespitose to loosely fasciculate from the plate ( Hyde et al. 2018). Phylogenetically, Pl. krabiensis is sister to Pl. tropica , but the latter has mononematous conidiophores.
