Notes: Pleurotheciella centenaria was introduced by Réblová et al. (2012) on decaying submerged wood from Centennial Lake in Ontario, Canada. Conidiophores arising from hyaline hyphae are 0–1–3-septate, unbranched to simply branched, slightly tapering toward the apex, hyaline to subhyaline, often reduced to a conidiogenous cell which is cylindrical to ampulliform, hyaline, elongating sympodially, with 1–7 subcylindrical denticles. Conidia are subcylindrical, fusiform to slightly obovoid, hyaline, subhyaline in mass and 3-septate.
