Temple distinct, crossed by sharp carina parallel to posterior margin of eyes. Palpal formula 4/2. Mesoscutum dull, granulate; notauli complete, posteriorly separated. In specimen from Mozambique, Cuamba, minimum distance between notauli less than 0.5 × as long as greatest breadth of lateral ocelli (0.5:1.5). In specimen from South Africa, Blue Mountain Ranch Bed & Breakfast, minimum distance between notauli shorter than greatest breadth of lateral ocelli (1.5:2.0). Mesoscutellum shiny, weakly granulate. Metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, completely reticulate rugose; areolae of metapectal-propodeal disc small; propodeal declivity without longitudinal or transverse keels.
