Type locality. Santa Isabel do Rio Negro , state of Amazonas, Brazil .

Distribution. Known from Brazil and Guyana on the Guiana Shield ( Plt. 138A View Plate 138 ). In Brazil, recorded in Guianan savannas and Amazonia ( Plt. 138A View Plate 138 ), at low elevations ( Plt. 138B View Plate 138 ). Observed in the field in savanna ( Montingelli and Zaher, 2011).
