Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 3.63–4.11mm; female, 3.55–4.15mm. Width, male, 2.21–2.47mm; female, 2.13–2.38mm. As for T. montana but elytra less elongate, strial regions lacking distinct vestiture, erect vestiture of pronotum and elytra distinctly plumose, confused and irregular in clumps. Ventrite 5 not impressed in either sex. Aedeagus as in Fig. 200 View FIGURES 200–201 .
Geographical distribution. México (Chiapas).
Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of wet cloud forest leaf litter at 2050–2200m.
Derivation of specific name. Named from the Latin illuviosa , meaning unwashed, unclean or dirty, in reference to the general appearance of the specimens, which are generally matted with dirt trapped in the dense dorsal vestiture.
