Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 2.86–3.20mm; female, 3.20–3.46mm. Width, male, 1.79–2.00mm; female, 1.96–2.13mm. As for T. tzotzil except aedeagus as in Fig. 174 View FIGURES 172–174 .

Geographical distribution. México (Chiapas).

Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of cloud forest leaf litter at elevations ranging from 2000–2450m.

Derivation of specific name. Named after Jorge León Cortés, lepidopterist at ECOSUR, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, México.
