Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 2.81–3.03mm; female, 3.32–3.48mm. Width, male, 1.46–1.63mm; female, 1.69–1.83mm. As for T. braunae but pronotum with punctures regularly spaced, large and moderately deep; elytra not as inflated; strial regions with scales present but minute. Posterolateral area of elytra with distinct pilose crease. Basal margin of elytra at humeri with rounded swelling or tooth. Mesosternum with deep, pilose pit-like impression. Geographical distribution. México (Oaxaca).
Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of cloud forest leaf litter at elevations of from 1200– 1325m.
Derivation of specific name. Named after Jarmila Kukalova-Peck and Stewart B. Peck of Ottawa, Canada.
