TYPE MATERIAL: Uroplectes schubotzi Kraepelin, 1929 : holotype ♀ [juv.?] ( ZMH), CEN- TRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC : Nana-Grébizi Prefecture : Fort Crampel [Kaga-Bandoro, 06°59′N 19°11′E], French Congo, 9.i.1911, Schubotz GoogleMaps .

REMARKS: Only digital photos of the holotype of U. schubotzi were available at the time of the present investigation. It is unclear whether the specimen is adult, and the status of this species, which appears to have affinities with the West African genus Butheoloides Hirst, 1925 , requires further investigation.
