Number of specimens recorded. 22.
Distribution. Europe; also North Africa. Portugal: 5 provinces, all over the country (also Dyte unpubl. data).
Ecology. Recorded in Portugal from different kinds of forests, and a riverbank. Most specimens were retrieved from a Mediterranean habitat with Quercus suber and Quercus ilex . In northwestern Europe, this species is restricted to bare shallow banks of dune slacks and lakes on sandy soil ( Pollet 2000).
Rarity (%). 8.0 (fairly rare). Rare (FL).
Activity period. March–May, August–October.
