Number of specimens recorded. 28.

Distribution. Europe; also North Africa. Portugal: three northern provinces and Baixo Alentejo in this study, and Algarve (Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. Recorded in Portugal from three macrohabitat categories, including salt marshes and brackish marshes, marshlands and parks. In northwestern Europe, it shows a clear preference for reedmarshes (Pollet 1992; Decleer et al. 2015).

Rarity (%). 5.7 (fairly rare). Common (FL).

Activity period. April–October.
