Remarks. This species was originally described from an unspecified number of female specimens with original data “Borneo, Kuching (Shelford); S.-E. Province (Doherty)”, of which two female syntypes are deposited in BMNH labeled “Kuching Mar. 25 1902 ”. One of these specimens, bearing Distant’s determination label and “Distant Coll. 1911-383”, and with wings spread as in Distant’s figure, is designated as lectotype. The male of this species is described here for the first time.
