REMARKS: Grubeulepis katzmanni was described by Pettibone (1986) based on juvenile specimens collected near Zlarin Island (CA) and is considered to be endemic to the Adriatic Sea. These specimens were the only representatives of the species known until the present findings in the NA. The validity of G. katzmanni has been considered as uncertain, as it could be based on juvenile specimens of G. augeneri Pettibone, 1969 , a species also present in the same area ( Pettibone 1986; Barnich & Fiege 2003).
