Distribution: In Brazil it occurs in the South, Southeast, Central-west regions and in Bahia in the Northeast ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in all three areas.
Reproductive period: It flowers from March to May and fruits from February to September ( Sartori & Tozzi 1998). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found with fruits from March to July.
Diagnostic characteristics: Trees with pinnate leaves recognized by the presence of elliptical leaflets with a retuse apex, sericeous on the abaxial surface and glaucous in color ( Sartori & Tozzi 1998).
