Adicella longiramosa Yang and Morse 2000 View in CoL

Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4

Adicella View in CoL sp. n. (Yang and Morse, unpublished data): Arefina and Morse, 2001: 78.

Material examined. RUSSIA: Khabarovsky Krai: Kiya River at Ekaterinoslavka Village (Ussuri River Basin), 26.vii.1996, T.I. Arefina, 2 males.

Distribution. Russian Far East (Khabarovsky Krai), China (Jiangxi Province).

Remarks. The genus Adicella was first recorded from the Russian Far East by Arefina and Morse (2001). In a separate publication, Yang and Morse (2000) described Adicella longiramosa from Jiangxi Province, in southeastern China. However, this publication was not available at the time Arefina and Morse submitted their manuscript for publication. Thus, Adicella longiramosa is herein recognized as a new record from Russia. A male collected at the Kiya River is figured ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). The male genitalia of the Kiya River specimen generally follows that illustrated by Yang and Morse; however, there are several minor differences between the figures. The inferior appendage ventral branch of the Kiya River specimen has a rounded apex, whereas that of the Chinese specimen is acute ( Yang & Morse 2000, p. 235, fig. 108). Also there are some differences in the shape of the preanal appendages.
