Etymology. The species epithet is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Males resemble those of M. colombiensis , M. downeyi , M. lewisi , M. yacambu n. sp., M. amarumayu n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the piriform palpal bulb. They differ from those of M. colombiensis , M. downeyi , M. lewisi , M. yacambu n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the embolus being slightly coiled and narrowed subdistally ( Fig. 18B–C View FIGURE 18 ); from M. amarumayu n. sp. in having a basal spine on metatarsus I and large P2 on tibia I ( Figs 18D View FIGURE 18 , 30C View FIGURE 30 ). Females are similar to those of Masteria colombiensis , M. amarumayu n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the bilobed spermathecae, with ectal lobe conical and high with large basal glands. Females differ from those of M. colombiensis n. sp. in the ental lobe having an elongated duct; from M. amarumayu n. sp. in the ectal lobe being shorter and apically thicker; and from M. aguaruna n. sp. in the smaller ental lobe ( Fig. 18E–F View FIGURE 18 ).

Description. Male (MPEG 8592). Color: Carapace in dorsal view and legs yellowish, carapace in ventral view and abdomen whitish. Total length 3.29. Carapace 1.47 long, 1.07 wide. Abdomen 1.82 long. Fovea 0.08. Clypeus 0.02. Ocular tubercle 0.16 long, 0.22 wide. Eyes: six, posterior row slightly recurved ( Fig. 18A View FIGURE 18 ). AME absent, ALE 0.10, PME 0.04, PLE 0.06. Basal segment of chelicerae with 12 prolateral teeth, and 12 smaller mesobasal teeth. Labium 0.19 long, 0.25 wide. Sternum 0.69 wide, 0.88 long. Tibia I: P1 absent, P2 a strong spine with normal base, and P3 short and rounded with projected base. Metatarsus I with a flattened basal spine and a basal depression associated with the prolateral processes of tibia I ( Figs 18D View FIGURE 18 , 30C View FIGURE 30 ). Palpal tibia twice the length of the cymbium, with a row of dorsal and ventral slender setae. Cymbium as long as wide with four apical spines. Palpal bulb piriform with elongated embolous, long embolus, slightly smaller than tegulum size ( Fig. 18B–C View FIGURE 18 ). PLS: basal, medial and apical, 0.47, 0.47, 0.47 long.

Female (MPEG 23322). Color: Carapace and legs yellowish, abdomen light brown. Total length 2.79. Carapace 1.32 long, 1.04 wide. Abdomen 1.47 long. Fovea 0.05. Clypeus 0.03. Ocular tubercle 0.13 long, 0.19 wide. Eyes: six, posterior row slightly recurved. AME absent, ALE 0.08, PME 0.03, PLE 0.06. Basal segment of chelicerae with 12 prolateral teeth, and 10-12 smaller mesobasal teeth. Labium 0.16 long, 0.29 wide. Sternum 0.69 wide, 0.75 long. Palp: femur 0.63/ patella 0.38/ tibia 0.54/ tarsus 0.54/ total 2.09; Legs I: femur 1.10/ patella 0.50/ tibia 0.79/ metatarsus 0.69/ tarsus 0.57/ total 3.65; II: 0.75/ 0.35/ 0.50/ 0.47/ 0.44/ 2.51; III: 0.78/ 0.38/ 0.50/ 0.63/ 0.47/ 2.76; IV: 1.07/ 0.50/ 0.84/ 0.81/ 0.63/ 3.85. Leg formula 4132. Spination: palp: patella v1-3 ap, tibia v1-1 -1, tarsus v1 b; Legs I: femur r1, patella v1-3 ap, tibia v1-1 -1, metatarsus v1-1 -1-3ap; II: femur p1, r1, patella v1-3 ap, p1, r1, tibia v1-1 -1-3ap, r1-1, metatarsus v1-1 -1, p1; III: femur p1, r1, patella v1-3 ap, p1, tibia v1-1 -1-3ap, r1-1, metatarsus v1-1 -1, p1; IV: femur p1, r1, patella v1-3 ap, p1, r1, tibia d2b-1, v1-1 -1-3ap, p1-1-1, r1-1, metatarsus d1- 1-1, v1-1 -1, p1-1, r1. Palpal claw with 14 teeth. Spermathecae bilobed, ectal lobe high, conical, with thick base, dense glandular region and rounded apex, ental lobe connected to external lobe, with thin duct and globose apex ( Fig. 18E–F View FIGURE 18 ). Variation. 6 males: total length 2.82–3.29. 2 females: total length: 2.79–2.82.
