Romattalus Tshernyshev, 2021: 491 . Type species: Romattalus dudkoi Tshernyshev, 2021 , by original designation.
Diagnosis. Medium-sized beetles, about 4 mm in length. Body yellow to black with blue metallic lustre ( Figs 1a–b View FIGURE 1 ). Male sexually dimorphic characters present on pronotum possessing tufts of long pendent yellow hairs on lateral sides ( Figs 1a, 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Tarsomere 2 of the fore tarsi lacking special comb. Antennae long and slender. Elytra lacking special structures. Ultimate abdominal ventrite (apical sternite) elongate and divided ( Fig. 2b View FIGURE 2 ).
Distribution. Himalaya region: China (Xizang), Nepal.
