Jilinga neelumensis View in CoL sp. nov.

Figs. 1A–C View FIGURE 1 , 3A–H View FIGURE 3 , 4A–B View FIGURE 4

Coloration and Morphology. Colour pattern of dorsal surface stramineous ( Fig. 1A–C View FIGURE 1 ). Crown with pair of yellowish brown streaks on anterior margin ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Legs yellowish brown with symmetrically arranged dark maculae ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Crown median length very slightly shorter than interocular distance.

Genitalia. Pygofer side longer than wide in lateral view ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ), paired processes of internal pygofer membrane relatively slender and evenly curved ventromesad ( Figs 3G View FIGURE 3 , 4A View FIGURE 4 ). Anal tube with appendages fused for short distance, with distal branches longer than fused section, apex of each branch cheliform with five smaller teeth evenly spaced between large lateral and mesal tooth ( Fig. 3B–C View FIGURE 3 ). Subgenital plate with lateral margin moderately convex basally, moderately concave distally, with 6 macrosetae laterally at proximal half ( Fig. 3E View FIGURE 3 ). Style with crow head-like apophysis, surface of apophysis rugose with scattered small setae ( Fig. 3E–F View FIGURE 3 ). Aedeagal shaft relatively slender approximately five times longer than maximum width in posterior view, with 3 pairs of lateral teeth arranged asymmetrically. Dorsal connective approximately 1.8 times wider than maximum height ( Fig. 3G View FIGURE 3 ).

Female seventh sternum with broadly convex medial lobe and pair of narrow lateral lobes posteriorly ( Fig. 4B View FIGURE 4 ).

Type material: Holotype: ♂, PAKISTAN, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Neelum Valley, 9 June 2016, Coll. Hassan Naveed . Paratypes: 3♂, 5♀ same data as holotype .

Remarks: This species resembles J. taibaiensis ( Zhang and Dai, 2017: 543, Figs. 1A–D View FIGURE 1 , 2A–F View FIGURE 2 , 3A–H View FIGURE 3 , 4A–E View FIGURE 4 , 5A–H View FIGURE 5 .) but can be distinguished by the broad, truncate dorsolateral arms of the dorsal connective, the broad and distally truncate pygofer membrane appendates and the broad style apex.

Etymology: The species epithet is based on the type locality, Neelum Valley.
