COMPOSITION. Genus Xistrella consists of 14 species distributed in Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Nepal, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines (Eades at al., 2014). Here two species are transferred from Pseudogignotettix to Xistrella .
