Brief description
Monoecious. Receptacle multiseriate, cells II and III broadening and ± divided. Perithecia borne on uniseriate multicellular stalks; with an apical rostrum ( Fig. 6A–B View Fig , ro) and a subterminal outgrowth ( Fig. 6C View Fig , arrow). Perithecial outer wall cells numerous ( Fig. 6C View Fig ), more than five in each vertical row.
Remarks
The genus consists of three species, of which two in Europe, one in Denmark. The most recently described species is K. rehmanii ( Majewski 1990c) .
