Diagnosis (modified from Tobias, 1957 and Li et al., 2016). Body oblong, but not slender, covered with rare long setae; ocellar triangle less than its distance from eye; oral cavity small, as wide as its distance from eye or slightly more; antenna as long as or shorter than body length; maxillary palps very long, longer than height of head; pronotum and mesonotum polished, without granulose sculpture; scutellum lacking punctate depression, polished; propleuron in lateral view smooth and glossy; propodeum entirely polished; fore wing with marginal cell elongate, terminating near the apex of the wing; metasomal tergites polished, without granulose sculpture; sutures between tergites usually not crenulate, at most suture between tergites 2–3 crenulate; ovipositor sturdy, longer or shorter than metasoma.
