Material examined: Esquel: Stipa sp. (1), Gobernador Costa: Acaena splendens (1). The species was only recorded under grass steppe.
Records in Argentina: Río Negro and Tierra del Fuego ( Fredes 2018).
Comments: the distribution of species is Neotropical austral ( Subías 2004, update 2018). It is a first record for the province of Chubut.
