TYPE LOCALITY: South Africa, Cape Prov., Gouna (54 mi. [87 km] E Calvinia) .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type.

STATUS: IUCN - Indeterminate.

COMMENTS: Possibly an aberrant asiatica ; see Meester (1974). Simonetta (1968:31) included it in asiatica as a subspecies.
