TYPE LOCALITY: Nigeria, "Asaba, 150 miles up the Niger " .
DISTRIBUTION: Rainforest in Nigeria, Cameroon, and Bioko; exact distribution unknown.
COMMENTS: Formerly included in poensis ; but see Heim de Balsac (1957), Meylan and Vogel (1982), and Hutterer and Happold (1983).
