TYPE LOCALITY: Zaire, Tshibati .

DISTRIBUTION: Zaire, Rwanda, Uganda.

STATUS: IUCN - Insufficiently known. P. maxima is of conservation concern ( Nicoll and Rathbun, 1990).

COMMENTS: Regarded as a full species by Hutterer (1986c:79).
