TYPE LOCALITY: India, Assam, Khasi Hills, Cherrapunji .

DISTRIBUTION: Burma, Assam ( India), and Yunnan ( China).

COMMENTS: Formerly included in T. micrura ; see Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951:40); but also see Corbet (1978c:33).
