TYPE LOCALITY: " Sikkim ", no exact locality .
DISTRIBUTION: Kashmir to N Burma and SW China.
SYNONYMS: gracilicauda, sacratus, soluensis, umbrinus.
COMMENTS: Subgenus Episoriculus . Includes sacratus and umbrinus as subspecies; see Gruber (1969) and Hoffmann (1985b).
