Description: General color yellowish. Head yellowish with central part slightly darker ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ); lappets ochraceous; clypeal area setose; two ocelli; postfrontal line U-shaped; antennae and palpi ochraceous. Penial armature in ventral/dorsal views ( Figs. 3–4 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ) wide at the base and similarly wide at mid-length; presence of a constriction at the base of the apex ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ) forming a short bottleneck and of a pair of medium sized ventral vesicles; hooks regularly curved with pointed tips; in lateral view ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ), apex slightly bent dorsally.
Female: Forewing length 14.2 mm and total length 17.9 mm. Subgenital plate 4-lobed ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ) with a deep medial notch ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Egg measuring 0.295 x 0.250 mm ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ).
Remarks: The penial armature of A. paprockii resembles that of A. uyara Froehlich 2002 , however differs by presence of a constriction at the base of the apex forming a short apical neck and by absence of a prominent keel (present in A. uyara ). Additionally, A. paprockii is lighter and smaller than A. uyara .
Etymology: the name honors Dr. Henrique Paprocki who collected the holotype.
