Type locality: Indonesia, Java, Preanger , 5000 feet
Distribution. Indian records: Sikkim, Nagas ( Hampson 1896b), India ( Robinson et al. 1994), Arunachal Pradesh ( Sondhi et al. 2021). Global records: Java, Philippines ( Klima 1937), Nepal ( Yamanaka 1998), Nepal, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, West Malaysia, Java, Sabah, Philippines ( Robinson et al. 1994).
