( Figs. 7–12 View FIGURES 7 – 12 )

Diagnosis. Flagellomere I 1.6x longer than flagellomere II; ascoids inserted in flagellomeres I–III; gonostyle with subterminal bristle; paramere robust, concave internally; presence of a tubercle with apex truncated on the inner surface in ventral view of paramere.

Description. Male. Length total from 1.1 to 1.2 mm, pale brown. Head subcircular, slightly flattened dorsoventrally, 1.4x broader than long; eyes rounded, discrete groove close to insertion of the antenna, interocular distance 7.5X diameter of an ommatidium ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Antenna: scape irregular, broader than long; pedicel subspherical; flagellum with 13 flagellomeres cylindrical and tapered; flagellomere I 1.6x longer than flagellomere II; other flagellomeres progressively shorter; ascoids paired, inserted on each side of flagellomeres I–III, extending beyond apex of flagellomeres; last flagellomere with small cylindrical apiculum separated by suture. Maxillary palp with four segments; relative length of palp segments: 1.0: 1.0: 0.9: 0.8. Labrum triangular; clypeus rectangular ( Figs. 7-8 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Wing length 0.98 mm, 2.3x larger than width. Apex rounded; Sc reaching C; R5 terminating beyond apex; vein r-m short; m-m present; CuA short, not reaching margin of wing ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Epandrium with proximal surface convex and distal surface concave; cercus longer than broad in ventral view, deciduous bristles on posterior extremity; epiproct shorter than cercus, distally truncated, micropilose ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Gonocoxite cylindrical, 2.3x longer than broad, long distal bristle on internal and external surface; gonostyle slender, 0.7x length than gonocoxite, subterminal seta present, apical thick bristle 0.7x length than gonostyle ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Paramere robust, narrowing at base, 2.1x longer than broad, concave internally; presence of an internal tubercle with apex truncated on the inner surface in ventral view; presence of long apical bristle, 0.6x length of paramere. Aedeagus bifid, sclerotized, base expanded laterally; ejaculatory apodeme approximately the same length of paramere ( Fig 10 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ).

Type material. BRAZIL, Espírito Santo State, Santa Teresa municipality, Reserva Biológica Augusto Ruschi, (- 19,97323° S, - 40,53047° W, 820 m. a.s.l.), holotype male, 28.IX.2011, Santos, CB., three paratype males with the same data as the holotype.
