Distribution in Iran. Guilan, Mazandaran ( Farahani et al. 2013b; Sedighi and Madjdzadeh 2015), Iran (no specific locality) ( Khanjani 2004).

Distribution outside Iran. One of the most frequently collected euphorine species in the Holarctic region ( Papp 2003a). Albania ( Fahringer 1924; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Hercegovenia, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Belgium ( Wesmael 1835; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Canada ( Strickland 1946; Muesebeck 1936 as Euphorus pallipes ; Loan 1980; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ; Sharanowski et al. 2014), China, Taiwan (Chen and van Achterberg 1997), Croatia ( Graeffe 1908; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Czech Republic (Lozan et al. 2010; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Hungary ( Szépligeti 1896; Györfi 1959; Papp 2006, 2008; Yu et al. 2012), Greece ( Papp 2003a; Yu et al. 2012), Macedonia, Serbia ( Papp 2010; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Mexico ( González-Hernández 2004), Poland ( Bilewicz-Pawińska 1977, 1982; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Russia ( Tobias 1971 as Euphorus pallipes ; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), Serbia ( Žikić et al. 2000), Turkey ( Koldaş et al. 2007, 2013; Yilmaz et al. 2010; Güçlü and Özbek 2011; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), UK ( Marshall 1885 as Euphorus tuberculifer ; Marshall 1887 as Euphorus pallipes and as E. tuberculifer ; Brindley 1939 as Euphorus pallipes ; Broad and Shaw 2009; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ), USA ( Muesebeck 1936 as Euphorus pallipes ; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) pallipes ).

Host records. A large number of hosts have been reported from Miridae (Hemiptera) : Adelphocoris lineolatus (Goeze) ( Khanjani 2004; Yu et al. 2012), A. rapidus (Say) , Capsus ater (Linnaeus) , Closterotomus norvegicus (Gmelin) , Labops hirtus Knight , Leptoptema dolabrata (Linnaeus) , Lygus spp., Notostira erratica (Linnaeus) , Plagignathus medicagus Arrand, Trigonotylus coelestialium (Kirkaldy) . Other records are from Timarcha tenebricosa (Fabricius) ( Coleoptera : Chrysomelidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012). It has also been reported as a parasitoid of Lygus lineolarisi (Palisot de Beauvois) ( Hemiptera : Miridae ) ( Bilewicz-Pawińska, 1977, 1982; Lim 1974). In Canada, this species has been reported as parasitoid of a number of plant bugs ( Hemiptera : Miridae ): Adelphocoris lineolatus (Goeze) , A. rapidus (Say) , Leptopterna dolobrata (Linnaeus) , Lygus lineolaris (Palisot de Beauvois), Caspus ater (Linnaeus) ( Loan 1980) . It has been reported from Adelphocoris lineolatus (Goeze) , Leptopterna dolobrata (Linnaeus) , Trigonotylus coelestialium (Kirkaldy) ( Bilewicz-Pawińska 1977, 1982), Closterotomus norvegicus (Gmelin) ( Brindley 1939) in the UK. The following mirid species ( Hemiptera : Miridae ) has been also reported: Leptopterna dolobrata (Linnaeus) ( Brindley 1939; Loan 1965; Bilewicz-Pawińska 1982), Stenotus binotatus (Fabricius) , Orthotylus virescens (Douglas & Scott) ( Waloff 1967) , Notostira erratica (Linnaeus) ( Bilewicz-Pawińska 1982) , Adelphocoris lineolatus (Goeze) ( Bilewicz-Pawińska 1977, 1982).
