Distribution. Likely native of India or Sri Lanka; it is spread on all continents through human introductions. In Equatorial Guinea it has been recorded from Annobon at San Antonio outskirts ( Map 36B View MAPS 36 ).
Comments. Recorded in Annobon by Jesus et al. (2003) at the surroundings of San Antonio, under rocks. It is a species complex ( Sidharthan et al. 2022).
Specimens examined. No specimens of this taxon have been found in the examined collections.
