Euprepes albilabris Hallowell, 1857: 51 . Type locality: “Gaboon” Gabon.
Mabuia albilabris ( Hallowell, 1857) : Boulenger 1905: 184.
Euprepis albilabris Hallowell, 1857 : Mausfeld-Lafdhiya et al. 2002 (by implication).

Comments. This species is sister to T. aureogularis ( Müller, 1885) from West Africa ( Allen et al. 2019).
Specimens examined. Two specimens. Río Muni: Cabo San Juan, likely part of the material examined by Boulenger (1905) (MNCN 5812, MNCN 5814).
