Note: Indutolaelaps squamosus Karg, 1997 is a typical member of the genus Proparholaspulus , especially in having a genitiventrianal shield with five pairs of pre-anal setae in addition to st5, one pair of elongate pre-sternal plates, and the metasternal plates fused to the sternal shield.
