Other Saudi Arabian records: Al-Baha Region: Jabal Shada al-A’la Nature Reserve ( El-Hawagry et al. 2016); Asir Region: Garf Raydah Nature Reserve ( El-Hawagry et al. 2017); Abha Farm Centre ( Dawah & Abdullah 2006).

Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Dawah & Abdullah (2006) and by El-Hawagry et al. (2016, 2017). The species was described from Egypt (“Nilthal” = valley of the river Nile) and further recorded from the Palaearctic Region: Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Italy, Jordan and Tunisia; Afrotropical Region: United Arab Emirates. There are some specimens in NMWC from Cape Verde Islands, France, Gambia, Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, Turkey and Afrotropical Region: Oman and Yemen.
