Specimens examined. Numerous, ♂, ♀, Jazan, Um Al-Raq Island, 25. x.–25. xi. 2015, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah (CERS; NMWC).

Distribution. This is the first record from Saudi Arabia. This species was described from Egypt (“Alexandrien” = Alexandria) and further recorded from the Palaearctic Region: Bulgaria, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Greece, Palestine, Italy, Morocco and Spain; Afrotropical Region: Ethiopia and United Arab Emirates.
