Specimens examined. 1 ♀, Jazan, Abu Aresh, Faisel El-Refae , 10. ii. 2012, sweeping trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) ; 1 ♂, Jazan, Sabya, Basahy Farm , 1–15. xii. 2012, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) ; 5 ♂, 4 ♀, same data but 30. xii. 2014 .

Distribution. This is the first record from Saudi Arabia and Arabian Peninsula. It was described from Seychelles ( Mahé) and further recorded from Cape Verde Islands, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gambia, Kenya, Senegal and Seychelles.
