Mexican Goatfish. To 40 cm (15.7 in) (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.). At least as far north as Todos Santos, southern Baja California (23°24.6’N, 110°13.8’W) (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.) to Arica, northern Chile (Sielfelt et al. 2010), including Gulf of California and offshore islands ( Robertson and Allen 2008).
