Diagnosis. The forewing length is 16–16.5 mm in males and 17.5–18 mm in females. The detailed comparison with G. sericeipennis is provided above in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Distribution. The species is known from Northeast India (north of West Bengal) ( Moore 1878) and Nepal ( Kishida 1994).
