This rarely collected eucnemid species was found in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin ( Muona 2000). New records reported here include Georgia, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Virginia. Specimens were taken from blacklight traps and a Lindgren funnel trap.
