Material examined. 1 male (43.5 x 27.2 mm), 1 female (39.5 x 24.8 mm) ( DABFUK), Kavaratti, coll. 7 January 2013 .

Remarks. Previously recorded by Suvarna Devi et al. (2014) from Lakshadweep. Serène (1984) reports it from Mauritius (type locality) and Chagos Archipelago, and there are also records from Sumatra, Japan and Marshall Islands ( Serène 1984).
