Material examined. 1 male (34.7 x 22.1 mm) ( DABFUK), Kavaratti, 10 October 2014. Remarks. A new record from Lakshadweep. This species has a wide distribution and has been reported from the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean to the western Pacific and all the way to the Hawaiian Islands .
