5. Mycotretus rhodosomus + M. reticulatus + M. flavomarginatus

( Fig. 1S, T, U View Figure 1 ; character 15:1 and Fig. 5I, J View Figure 5 ) ‘anterior borders of flagellum head with a ‘head-piece’ structure’. This feature was observed in other Mycotretus , such as M. pecari Lacordaire, 1842 , M. psittacus Lacordaire, 1842 and M. tricolor Crotch, 1876 (not included here). All of these species are larger in body size than most Mycotretus and the larger males have arched metatibiae.
