Cyriocosmus leetzi Vol, 1999: 2 View in CoL , 9 unnumbered figures. Holotype female from Colombia, without further information, deposited in MNHN, not examined; Sejna 2000: 9.

Material examined: 2 males (ICN­Ar 33, ICN­Ar 47) from Agua Azul, Vereda El Guineo, Casanare, C. Martinez, 18 September 1996; 1 male ( IBSP 10971) from Colombia, F. Vol, without further information and 1 female (ICN­Ar 1603) from Meta, Cubarral, Vereda Vergel, upper Jupuaro River, 630 m, 1–13 June 1993.

Diagnosis: Females can be distinguished from all species by having a longitudinal dark band on the ventral abdomen in conjunction with three clear stripes on each side of the dorsal abdomen ( Fig. 42 View FIGURES 40 – 44 ). The male can be distinguished from all other species, except C. ritae , by having a longitudinal dark band on the ventral abdomen. It differs from C. ritae by having a short paraembolic apophysis ( Figs 5, 6 View FIGURES 1 – 10 ).
